We are a renewable energy company that produces or assembles quality renewable energy products to provide quality and affordable alternative sources of electric power wherever and whenever desired. Behind the Prostar Global Energy, there is a story of discovery and development born 30 years ago.
The founder once worked as a staff in a fossil based company, Mobil producing unlimited , but chose to leave after learning early that Nigeria has a huge untapped market in renewable energy which was known to be the “new oil” for Nigeria and other West African countries due to the abundance of sunlight in The region and Africa in general.
Engineer Hyman Udemba traveled to Germany, United Kingdom, and subsequently China to learn the ropes which were easy for him due to his foundation in Engineering.
Being known for his curiosity, passion, and knowledge, he didn’t just learn, he created his own designs and these were used to manufacture finished solar products that were used in the market; Prostar has gone through a lot of phases since then.
In the year 2005, Prostar Global Energy Group Ltd., became incorporated as the holding company to coordinate the activities of its associate members, Prime Energy Ventures Ltd, Prime Solar Power Ltd, Ecopal Electric Systems Ltd; in the area of renewable energy and other partners, Priceless Technology in the area of Electric Surveillance System fits in the area of Technology Services.

01Renewable Energy Product Design
Prostar Group engage in products design in collaboration with our foreign partners basically in the area of tropicalisation, and maintainability of products, especially power inverters. Prostar PRNZ inverter has proven its ruggedness and durability in this regard within the West African market since 1998, improving from one version to the higher next in reliable service enabling repair services by local technicians.
02Trainings
We provide standard practical training workshops on renewable energies. The scope of our training facilities covers both the training of artisans and resource persons like University lecturers and corporate institutions.
03Installation of Renewable Energy Products
We have proficiency in renewable energy installations and maintenance for individual homes and offices, corporate organizations, and communities including solar water projects, off-grid power generation and distribution.
04Build Sustainable Communities:
We aim to support the development of sustainable communities such that the world's CO2 emission is halved by 2050.
05Education
We focus on training people so that they can have practical knowledge of solar energy designs, installation and maintenance of renewable energy whether for academic purposes or for business purposes.
06Job Creation
We trained people on design, installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems so that they become gainfully employed and train others.
